NOT ALL LAWYERS ARE CREATED EQUAL

If you have been looking for a place to call home in 2008 but have been thinking "how the heck will I survive those boring grey suits for two years", you are finally at the right place!

We are looking for young, funky and dynamic individuals to join our team in 2008. We are not necessarily interested in the people who were in the top 5 of the class and can recite the writings of Voet and Grotius in their sleep - we are quite sure that you didn't reach the final year at law school without any brains! What we are looking for are young people with a personality who can be a valuable addition to our team. People who are individuals first and foremost but who can complement our very dynamic team. People who understand that life is about being a well-rounded individual. Be honest, in any case, who's interested in dealing with a boring brain-box who uses large words on a day to day basis - and why should lawyers be any different?

Maybe you have a black belt in karate, or have seen the northern lights, or canoed in the polar ice caps or have completed a marathon? Whatever it is, be sure to tell us why you should be joining us... Unfortunately things like attention to detail, punctuality and personality are all very much required in the world of lawyering, so be sure to allude to some of those traits as well!

If you think you fit the bill, send us your application to:
DELPORT WARD & PIENAAR ATTORNEYS
PO Box 7053

 OR

| 1st Floor, Cornerstone House
Roggebaai | 16 Loop Street

Attention: Recruitment office

When sending your application, please ignore any certified copies of your ID, degrees and the like (we believe you are who you say you are) but do make sure that your marks are included. Rest assured though that we judge the applications not on marks but whether you will fit our team.

We receive a large number of applications every year. Be sure to make your application stand out - wow us with your style! Any "Dear Mr HR Manager, I am the best, yadda-yadda" covering letters will immediately be binned. Tell us in your covering letter why you believe you are a funky and dynamic individual who would thrive in team work.

Finally, make sure that your application reaches us by 31 August 2007.

We look forward to hearing from you and good luck!
